Greetings Friends January 15th

I was moved by the faith of a young man still pinned under the rubble of a collapsed school after 46 hours in Haiti.

Reporter: "What are you saying to yourself?"
Man: "Myself? As I am a Christian, I say, 'Jesus...Jesus, you know my life is in your hand.'"
Christ was giving this man incredible peace, though he was trapped...and where one aftershock could end it for him.
As one plagued by anxiousness and fear, I found encouragement in this man's faith in Jesus. He understood, probably better than at any time in his life, that his life truly was in Christ's hands.
The topic we are addressing Sunday, jan 17th focuses on Christ as the "Center of our Devotion" as we explore further the meaning IN life.
After this week's images, there is much to be said, much to think about, much to ask, and much to learn on this subject
